The 37-year-old Bonnie Guess Mazock was convicted of indecency with a student.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office started looking into claims that Mazock had inappropriate contact with one of her students on January 12.

The child’s grandmother reportedly informed police that her grandson had been having intercourse with his science teacher, Mazock, according to court records.

Documents reveal the student first admitted to having sex with his science teacher to his cousin, then during winter break, he spent the night at Mazock’s house.

According to officials, the student allegedly admitted to having sex with Mazock several times, including in her car and at his house. According to court documents, he added that Mazock claimed: “her husband was not satisfying her at home so he had to satisfy her.”

Through the social networking platform Snapchat, Mazock and the student exchanged messages. The teacher and the student exchanged several texts, some of which, according to the authorities, discussed “meeting up” and “purchasing drugs.” According to court records, the student claimed that Mazock sent him a Snapchat picture when she was in the restroom and was wearing a bra and underwear.

Authorities said the teen claimed Mazock frequently provided him cash so he could acquire drugs for both of them.

Mazock was hired by the high school on August 3, 2021

According to court documents, she will complete her ten-year term at TDCJ.
