Brandon Sams, Texarkana ISD teacher arrested, fired for an alleged inappropriate relationship with a student

East Texas’ Texarkana Independent School District (TISD) has arrested a former teacher.

According to the police, 46-year-old Brandon Sams was detained on a number of counts relating to an unsuitable relationship with a student. He was terminated on September 26 from his position as a band instructor with the school system. According to the police, the district is helping with the inquiry.

Brandon Sams has been charged with a number of criminal complaints since 2001, the oldest being indecent exposure.
