Justin Foley, Columbus Alternative High School science teacher admits to taking up-skirt videos of students for the last 7 years

Tuesday saw the arrest of a Columbus Alternative High School teacher who had acknowledged to recording female students for the previous seven years.

According to court filings from Delaware County Common Pleas Court, 47-year-old Justin Foley is charged with illegal use of minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance.

According to court documents, on August 16, the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force provided a tip to the Delaware Police Department.

Foley’s Google account, which contained 46 allegedly child pornographic image files, was the subject of the tip. The photographs, according to law officials, were of multiple juvenile girls between the ages of 12 and 16.

Records show. Authorities were able to locate almost 5,000 photos of child abuse material and 166 voyeuristic video files when Google provided the complete account data.

The movies were reportedly shot in department stores surrounding Columbus, open spaces in Delaware’s downtown, close to Ohio Wesleyan University, and in front of Conger Elementary School.

In an interview with police enforcement on Tuesday, Foley acknowledged downloading the photographs, moving them to an external hard drive, and then uploading them to the Google account.

In addition, Foley acknowledged continuing to aggressively make voyeur films while working as a high school teacher and in public.

Foley said that for the previous seven years and as recently as last week, he had been filming “up-skirt”-style recordings of students at his school.

The state has recommended that Foley post a $250,000 bond in addition to having GPS tracking, no internet access, and no contact with kids.

Foley is a science/AP teacher who has worked for the district since 2013, according to Columbus City Schools.
