Edward Parker, Timber Trace Elementary teacher faces 30 counts of possessing obscene material child pornography

An elementary school teacher from Palm Beach County is in custody on child pornography possession allegations.

After receiving a report online concerning Parker uploading and viewing child pornography, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit detained Edward Jeffrey Parker, 54.

Parker teaches second grade at Timber Trace Elementary, according to a letter that administrators from the school sent to parents. He has been employed by the institution since 2002. For 30 counts of having 10 or more photos of a kid engaging in sexual activity, Parker was taken into custody on Tuesday.

He was incarcerated in Palm Beach County. He is subject to a $150,000 bond.
