A former track assistant coach and instructor at Broken Arrow High School was detained by Bixby police on suspicion of having sex with a student at his Bixby residence in 2019.
According to the police, Brandon Neal dated one of his students for a month.

When a pupil and her mother informed Broken Arrow Police about the relationship in January 2020, the investigation got underway.

Police claimed that after the girl refused to cooperate and a search warrant turned up nothing on her phone, the case was declared inactive.

16 months later, the victim came forward and acknowledged the relationship, according to the police.

According to court records, she informed authorities that she came forward because of her fear of him.

Neal handed himself up on Friday afternoon in connection with allegations of sexual abuse and second-degree rape.

The day after speaking with police about the issue, according to Broken Arrow Schools, he resigned.

At this moment, Neal’s lawyer has chosen not to comment.
