Vigiland D’Haiti, a Cypress Creek High School teacher and Cheerleading Coach charged with possession and production of child sexual abuse images and videos of a minor engaging in sexual activity



A teacher of technology at Cypress Creek High School and a cheerleading coach in Clermont have both been indicted on federal charges for allegedly abusing minors who visited his gym.

Vigiland D’Haiti, 40, allegedly abused an underage teen and recorded the abuse, according to the Department of Justice.

The agency made public the indictment accusing D’Haiti with one count each of producing and possessing photographs and videos of child sexual abuse as well as one count each of enticing a juvenile to participate in sexual behavior.

According to Clermont police, D’Haiti was apprehended at his residence in March on a warrant issued by Lake County for his arrest for multiple charges of lewd and lascivious molestation on victims between the ages of 12 and 15.

Authorities claim to have discovered sexually explicit images and footage of D’Haiti abusing kids he knew from his Clermont gym, Rush Allstars. He is also charged with abusing another minor in 2014.
