In a statement released by the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday, it was revealed that a teacher’s aide at Storey Elementary School in Fresno Unified had been detained for allegedly sexually abusing a kid.
According to deputies, Kevin Juarez, 22, was detained on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of bothering or molesting a child. Juarez is a noontime assistant at the elementary school, which is a member of the Fresno Unified School District, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.
According to detectives, Juarez had inappropriate talks with a 12-year-old student and had sent the girl sexually explicit texts via a social networking app.
According to representatives of the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, Juarez was released from custody on Wednesday with a ticket and a summons to court.
