A Morris High School teacher who sexually assaulted two of his students entered a guilty plea to three federal sex offense charges.
Dallas Ewton acknowledged having sexually assaulted a student almost every day starting in 2012 when she was in sixth grade.
According to the Justice Department, Ewton also had inappropriate contact with a different girl during the 2019–2020 academic year.
13 more students have come forward, according to the FBI, since the inquiry began.
When he is sentenced, Ewton could spend up to 32 years behind bars.
An ex-teacher from Morris High School who is accused of sexually assaulting two of his students will go on trial starting on Monday.
Dallas Ewton is accused of many sex offenses dating back to 2012 in federal court.
After a student reported the incident to the FBI in the spring of 2021, the claims became public.
According to court filings, the girl told investigators that Ewton began harassing her sexually when she was 11 and in the sixth grade. According to the records, the girl claimed that Ewton abused her every day unless she was absent from school and that it occurred both in the classroom and during tutoring sessions after school.
Prosecutors claim that Ewton sent 12,000 messages to one of the victims. According to them, Ewton’s ex-wife allegedly informed the FBI that Ewton would text one of the victims.
Additionally, according to court filings, Ewton touched another female indecently during the 2019–2020 academic year.

The trial is expected to begin Monday morning in Oklahoma City.
