According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, 45-year-old Hoboken resident Francisco Realpe admitted to sexually assaulting two female students while working as a teacher in Union City and Jersey City.

On June 30, Realpe entered a plea of guilty to two charges of sexual assault before Judge Carlo Abad.

Realpe will be subject to Megan’s Law and life-long parole supervision as terms of the plea agreement. He will lose his ability to work for the government now and in the future, and both victims will have long-term restraining orders.

On Friday, September 30, Realpe is expected to be sentenced. Assistant prosecutor for Hudson County Jane Weiner is the prosecutor for the State in this case.

While Realpe was a teacher at Dickinson High School in Jersey City in November 2019, the first victim reported being sexually assaulted. The second victim disclosed that she had been sexually attacked in 2004 while attending Union Hill High School in Union City shortly after Realpe’s arrest. At the time of the assaults, both victims were 17 years old.

In two further lawsuits, Realpe is accused of sexually assaulting female students who were minors while employed at Union Hill High School, now known as Union City High.
