Gregory Melin, Roncalli Middle School teacher arrested for inappropriate photos of students on his phone

On Wednesday, a math instructor at Roncalli Middle School was arrested after detectives discovered indecent images of female students on his phone.

Gregory Melin, 36, of Sheboygan, is accused of photographing three girls in his middle school classroom in an inappropriate manner over the past few months.

Melin’s phone was searched by the Sheboygan Police Department, and multiple photos of the three victims were discovered. All of the images of the three girls were taken in secret.

The three victims have all been identified, and their families have been notified of the tragedy.

Melin might be charged with Representations Depicting Nudity and Disorderly Conduct by the Sheboygan District Attorney’s Office.

Local law enforcement is working with the Roncalli School District. There is no further information available at this time because the inquiry is still underway.

The Manitowoc Police Department encourages parents of students to speak with their children and to contact the Manitowoc Police Department if they learn anything disturbing.

The Manitowoc and Sheboygan police departments are cooperating in this investigation.
