District police arrested a J. P. LeNoir Elementary school music teacher on Thursday and accused him of injuring a child, elderly person, or disabled person.
Raymon R. Correa, 32, was released from the Hidalgo County Adult Detention Center on a $1,000 bond on Friday, according to records.
When asked for a response, a district representative indicated that the administration is forbidden by district policy from discussing details in cases involving district personnel.
Correa, who has taught at J.P. LeNoir Elementary for three years, is a music teacher and choir/drumline conductor, according to the district’s website.
