According to the Sheriff’s Office, a Sterling Middle School teacher has been accused of assaulting two children in his classroom.
Jinwoo Noh, 43, of Centreville, is accused of physically grabbing and forcing a kid off a chair in one case, and dragging a chair out from beneath a student in the second case, causing the youngster to fall to the ground. There were no injuries recorded.
According to the agency, the inquiry began on June 6 after one of the incidences was shared on social media.
Two summonses for assault and battery were issued to Noh.
Wayde Byard, a spokeswoman for the school division, said the teacher is “currently on leave.”
