A Two Rivers teacher was in court on Monday, accused of sexually assaulting a kid.

Rebecca Kilps, 35, has been charged with three counts of felony Sex Assault of a Student by School Personnel.

Kilps waived the time period for her preliminary hearing, which is set for July 22, during a court appearance on Monday. This is the hearing when a judge will determine if there is sufficient evidence to bind Kilps over for trial.

Kilps’ bond restrictions were also changed by the court on Monday, allowing her to see her son. In May, she agreed to not have any contact with anyone under the age of 18. There were no additional changes to the terms. Kilps was released after posting a $10,000 cash bond.

Kilps surrendered her passport as a condition of bond.
