In two separate cases, a Grand Island Public Schools teacher faces sexual assault and incest charges and will be tried in district court.
According to Hall County Court Records, Philip Zlomke, a teacher at Westridge Middle School, is accused of two charges of first-degree sexual assault that occurred in October 2021.
Zlomke is on paid administrative leave, according to Grand Island Police.
According to court documents, Zlomke is charged with first and third degree sexual assault of a child, first degree sexual assault, and two charges of incest in a separate case.
Those charges are said to have occurred between January 2017 and February 2021, according to court records.
In this case, the arrest affidavit has been sealed.
In both counts, Zlomke’s district court arraignment is set for July 12th, according to court filings.
He might spend the rest of his life in prison if convicted of all counts.
