Keith R. Moulton, Oak Park Middle School teacher arrested for sexual battery on a boy

Keith R. Moulton, an Oak Park Middle School teacher, was arrested by Lake County Sheriff’s Office deputies and charged with sexual battery on a juvenile aged 12 to 18.

According to an arrest affidavit released by the sheriff’s office on Thursday, the abuse occurred between April 21 and 23 at his Groveland home.

When the youngster walked to the bathroom, he said “Mr. Keith” tried to touch his penis. He stated he needed to speak with him later that day. He claimed the 35-year-old dragged him into his bedroom, threw him down, and forced his penis into his mouth.

He didn’t tell the adult he was with because he didn’t want him to “get into a fight with Mr. Keith,” according to the youngster.

On a Saturday, no less. He told a school resource officer that it was his first day back at school. He was transferred to the Child Advocacy Center, where a forensic interviewer questioned him.

Moulton denied wanting to touch the youngster in the restroom, but said that when “wrestling” with him, his penis inadvertently brushed up against the boy’s mouth.

Moulton is a first-year teacher who teaches “intensive math,” according to Lake school district spokesperson Sherri Owens.
