On Wednesday, May 11, 2022, a Bronx public school science instructor was arrested and charged for molesting kids within the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.
According to authorities, Norman Dunkley, 48, is suspected of sexually touching four female students.
The victims are all ten years old, according to the police.
Dunkley teaches at P.S. 70 in the Bronx’s Concourse Village area.
He’s been charged with sex abuse and forcible touching, among other things.
In a statement, the Department of Education responded in part, “This alleged behavior is absolutely unacceptable. The safety and well-being of our students are our top priority. This employee was removed from the school and students and we will work with the NYPD as they investigate. If convicted, we will move to terminate him.”
