According to an arrest warrant, an Upstate instructor has been accused with assault.
According to Mary Nell Anthony, the school’s principal, Bradley Onassis Robinson was a teacher at Greenville Technical Charter School.
Robinson is no longer working at the school, according to Anthony.
According to Anthony, an incident involving a teacher and a student occurred on February 7.
Robinson “did knowingly commit battery upon the victim by shoving with both hands in the upper abdomen of the victim,” according to a Greenville Technical Campus Police arrest warrant.
When asked about Robinson’s detention, Anthony issued the following statement:
“GTCHS is known for the high expectations we have for our students and staff. On Monday, February 7, an incident occurred that involved a teacher and a student. After a thorough investigation of the incident, we determined that the teacher did not uphold our expectations for the professional conduct of our faculty and staff. While this incident is not indicative of the teacher’s prior performance or interactions with students, even one instance of such conduct can not be condoned or accepted.”
Robinson was charged on Feb. 8 with third-degree assault.
