A New York City public educator was captured after purportedly putting his hands around a student’s neck inside a Bronx school.
Police say 45-year-old Chester Hingle stifled the 12-year-old kid inside the cafeteria of I.S. 217 in the Longwood area around early afternoon Thursday.
The youngster was not injured.
Hingle was accused of criminal obstruction of breathing endangering the welfare of a child.
Hingle was given a desk appearance ticket and should answer to court sometime in the future.
