A former West Ottawa High School substitute teacher has admitted to sexually abusing a student.
Jill Ann Edstrom, 50, of Park Township, admitted to third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a pupil on April 15.
Edstrom was arrested in October of last year and charged. The sheriff’s office claimed Edstrom was having an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old boy at the time.
The date for sentencing has been set for May 16.
