Officials say a substitute teacher in the Holland area has been charged with criminal sexual conduct after having a relationship with a pupil.
Jill Ann Edstrom, a 50-year-old Park Township woman, was charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct on Tuesday, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the sheriff’s office, the long-term substitute teacher had a relationship with a 16-year-old male pupil after a months-long inquiry.
She worked as a substitute teacher at West Ottawa High School, according to the sheriff’s office.
Officials say Edstrom has posted bond.
